What changes when SEO is built for an Australian practice?
The website should explain your actual profession, services, clinic locations and telehealth availability in language Australian clients use. A psychologist in Perth and a counselling practice in Sydney may need different service descriptions, credentials and enquiry paths.
We start with the practice's real locations and the areas it can serve. Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide are examples of different local markets, not interchangeable keywords. A useful location page explains access, appointment options and the clinicians available there. It does not invent a branch address or repeat the same page under a different city name.
- Match names, addresses, phone numbers and opening hours across the website and public listings.
- Explain in-person and telehealth services separately, with service boundaries confirmed by the practice.
- Use accurate professional titles and credentials supplied by the clinicians.
- State fees, referral arrangements and rebate information only when the practice has confirmed them.
How do advertising rules shape the work?
Advertising review belongs in the content process. Ahpra's advertising guidelines for regulated health services address misleading claims, evidence and testimonials. Its testimonial guidance distinguishes comments about clinical care from comments about matters such as parking or opening hours.
Our implementation approach is to request approved credentials and service claims, identify proposed review or testimonial use, and send material requiring a professional decision back to the practice before publication. The rules that apply depend on the service and profession; we do not describe every counsellor as Ahpra-registered.
Moonraker provides marketing and website implementation. We do not certify regulatory compliance or provide legal advice. Your practice and its qualified advisers determine what is appropriate for its advertising. See our service boundaries.
What work can Moonraker deliver?
Choose a written audit, a 90-day Visibility Run on your existing platform, or a Flagship Rebuild with a new website. The Services page explains those separate scopes. Your proposal identifies the pages, technical work and reporting included.
- Establish a baseline using public website checks and the search data you make available.
- Prioritise accurate service, clinician and location content before adding extra pages.
- Implement the agreed work, including crawlable HTML, internal links and structured data that matches visible facts.
- Report search performance and any sampled AI answers separately, with dates and context.
How do we measure Australian visibility?
Measure the audience and locations you actually serve. Search Console country and query data can help distinguish Australian search activity from unrelated traffic. For local discovery, compare the relevant clinic location and service searches. For AI answers, record the question, platform, date and whether the practice was mentioned or cited.
The Australian study is a starting point for technical investigation, not a forecast for an individual practice. Improvements to markup or page content cannot guarantee rankings, citations or new clients.
